[1.7.10][SOLVED]Defining ToolClass on new tool type?

I'm making a new tool type and I was wondering if anyone could help me define the tool as a "Pickaxe"

It's basically like "Drax" from Terraria.

A Pickaxe and a Axe in a singular item.

I have a few more uses to it but, that's besides the point. My problem right now is.... It is effective against what I want it to be effective against but I can't grab ores/stone.

That's because it isn't technically Harvesting the block.... It doesn't qualify for it. So it's just Breaking it.

I'm having problems hunting down a way to define it as a Pickaxe.

If possible I don't want to have to hunt down and edit the ores directly. I'd rather just make my "Drax" qualify as a Pickaxe in the ToolClass.

game changed the way you create foods.
for example minecraft 1.21.8 code for the golden apple is
