Hi, I have been playing around with adding a wavefront model into Minecraft without much luck. I have been stuck on renderEngine because i cannot figure out how to define it without throwing an error. I have tried TextureManager and ResourceManager. What format is it supposed to be defined in?

Attempts

private TextureManager crystalTexture;

crystalTexture = new TextureManager(?)

Minecraft.getMinecraft().renderEngine(crystalTexture);

private ResourceManager crystalTexture;

crystalTexture = new ResourceManager(StringLibrary.MODID + ":(texture name))

Minecraft.getMinecraft().renderEngine(crystalTexture);

Minecraft.renderEngine is a field, not a method. You cannot call it with parameters. You can however, call it's methods by name:

Minecraft.getMinecraft().renderEngine.bindTexture(resourceLocation); -- it is type TextureManager
