My previous post was locked with the response of "EAQ".....so.....what does that mean? read the EAQ? yeah, I did that, but as I said my errors are not in there. Since I have nothing to go on but those three letters I read through the EAQ again and I thought "hey, maybe they mean I didn't post the fml-client-latest.log?" so here it is... http://pastebin.com/uGbAjsJn

running forge-1.7.10-10.13.2.1231 with latest Java installed

Game loads and lets me get in to create a world but then crashes

no mods installed

Thank you for any assistance

Read the EAQ. Really. Your issue is in there.

Add -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true to your VM args.

Post again WITHOUT reading the EAQ and YOU WILL BE BANNED.

Read the EAQ before posting! OR ELSE!

This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project.

Well....that worked......BUT, there is no way I would have known based on the EAQ:

io.netty.channel.ChannelException: failed to open a new selector: Update to version 10.13.0.1180 or above. Previous versions: Add -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true to your VM args.

I'm running 10.13.2.1231, so according to the EAQ, this fix does would apply to me...

My kid's happy so thats all I care about, thanks
