Hi,

First off, I know it won't be soon but still and I was not sure where to post this.

Ever since I hear about the "upcoming" change in minecraft 1.9.0, I was wondering what will happen to forge? Do you plan on following exact same path offered in the 1.9.0 but with some tweak, making every 1.9.0 "mojang" mod compatible with forge? Do you plan on dropping forge since minecraft will provide a way to run mod without it?

Honestly i hope that "mojang"(by "mojang" i mean the new way to run mod and plugin without forge or bukkit in 1.9.0) mod will work with forge, so forge would be there to add missing stuff or make them run smoother, providing server owner who choose to run forge only advantage(if forge doesn't break the plugin compatibly offered in 1.9.0 too) by offering letting them use the same mod as "mojang" in addition of the mod only supported by forge.

Plan might change before the 1.9.0 but we can be pretty sure it will be available within a year if we're looking at the time frame between each big patch.

P.s. : english is not my main language I hope that my post is readable.

Edit : Unless I did misunderstood what mojang were planing in 1.9.x which is possible.

This isn't building better software, its trying to grab a place in the commit list of a highly visible github project.
