[1.7.2] [Solved] How to make an icon and text appear above lives in game.

So, I tryed to do a google search for this and came up with nothing. So i decided to come here to see if the experts can answer my question. ;)

My question is, how do I make an icon and text appear above the lives in game? For example, if you have seen flans mod, much like it does when it displays the ammo number when you have a gun, that is kind of like what I want.

Thanks in advance. :)

Use the

RenderGameOverLayEvent.Post

event, check if the type is the type you want and then render it.

1.7.10 and older versions of Minecraft are no longer supported due to it's age! Update to the latest version for support.

I tryed to figure that out, but I couldn't, what is the code?

Use the on experience bar render event, just look up the class that handles the hud and you'll see what i mean.

There isn't a class with that name, I looked :(

1) make a class containing a method with

RenderGameOverlayEvent.Post

as parameter and put

@SubscribeEvent

above the method

2) register that class using

MinecraftForge.EVENT_BUS.register(new YourClassContainingTheMethod())

.

3) in that method, check if

event.type

is

ElementType.HEALTH

.

4) in that if-statement, do your rendering.
