so....uh...gotta happen on the gf, right?

so, i used the installer to put forge on the gf's laptop...but its not working at all. when i try to run the forge profile the launcher runs for minecraft, i press play, the launcher closes and nothing happens past that. i have no clue whats happening as i have not had this problem before. she has windows 8.1 and im trying to run it on minecraft 1.6.4. the version im trying to install is 9.11.1.965

We really wanted to stick to 1.6.4 if we could. Is that the only way she can run forge?

I think you can use LexManos's JarFixer mod, but really you should be updating to Minecraft 1.7.10 and the latest Forge version. There is no more support for 1.6.4
