Posted November 10, 201411 yr I have a mac running 10.10 and I have Eclipse javac -version javac 1.7.0_71 Forge src download 1.7.10 When I run ./gradlew setupDecompWorkspace, gradle seems to successfully create the .gradle directory, but after that I get the following error: FAILURE: Build failed with an exception. * What went wrong: A problem occurred configuring root project 'forge-1'. > Could not resolve all dependencies for configuration ':classpath'. > Could not resolve net.minecraftforge.gradle:ForgeGradle:1.2-SNAPSHOT. Required by: :forge-1:unspecified > org.slf4j.spi.LocationAwareLogger.log(Lorg/slf4j/Marker;Ljava/lang/String;ILjava/lang/String;[Ljava/lang/Object;Ljava/lang/Throwable;)V > org.slf4j.spi.LocationAwareLogger.log(Lorg/slf4j/Marker;Ljava/lang/String;ILjava/lang/String;[Ljava/lang/Object;Ljava/lang/Throwable;)V > org.slf4j.spi.LocationAwareLogger.log(Lorg/slf4j/Marker;Ljava/lang/String;ILjava/lang/String;[Ljava/lang/Object;Ljava/lang/Throwable;)V * Try: Run with --stacktrace option to get the stack trace. Run with --info or --debug option to get more log output. BUILD FAILED Making this even more mysterious, I managed to get everything working perfectly on my machine about a month ago. My son and I were able to follow tutorials using the exampleMod file. But upon opening Eclipse one evening and only selecting the check box for "default" workspace, we were no longer able to find our project. I eventually reinstalled everything--the jdk, forge, and Eclipse (more than once and after trying to erase previous versions), but the "BUILD FAILED" issue above is all I've been able to get since then. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks.
