January 31, 201510 yr I dont know if this works (cause I am still 1.7.10) but: world.spawnEntityInWorld(new EntityBoat(World Object, X position, Y position, Z position)) If you are not sure, just find a java file, and add "extends EntityBoat" (I suppose it is EntityBoat) after "public class (name)" and ctrl+click Then find the EntityBoat constructor.

He doesn't want to spawn a new boat, he wants to make new boat. And yes, you should make a class extending EntityBoat. And yes, you spawn it using world.spawnEntityInWorld(new YourBoat(world,x,y,z)); Don't PM me with questions. They will be ignored! January 31, 201510 yr If you're looking for the EntityBoat.java file, it's here: recompSrc > net > minecraft > entity > item > EntityBoat.java If you're looking for the EntityBoat.class file, it's here: recompCls > net > minecraft > entity > item > EntityBoat.class Windows Explorer / Finder both have a search bar. Use it.
January 31, 201510 yr You shouldn't be needing to look in the classes. And you should be able to search in your IDE. - - - And you register the entity like ANY other entity. Because, SURPRISE, it's an entity. EntityRegistry.registerModEntity is the method you should look into, I believe. Hope that helps! -Mitchellbrine Minecraft can do ANYTHING, it's coded in Java and you got the full power of Java behind you when you code. So nothing is impossible. It may be freaking fucking hard though, but still possible If you create a topic on Modder Support, live by this motto: I don't want your charity, I want your information
