Minecraft wont launch

When i click play on minecraft, it starts to load and it gets to the white mojang screen but doesn't get passed that. I've left it loading for 10-15 min a couple times but i still get nothing. When i close it down and the launcher opens, these are the last 2 lines from the "Game Output" section:

what should i do to up the PermGen space?
