can you explain how it works on client side with extra utilities?

So I messaged RWTema, the creator of Extra Utilities and I've gotten no response and I don't have hope of getting one so i figured, why not post the client log along side the crash report. My Client Side loads fine with same mods (minus one or two server maintenance mods) but the server won't. oh... ummmm.. it's not causing a crash report, it's just not loading the server... it's as if it crashed without a crash report

Anyone gonna help me? You're saying extra utilities is broken but when i take that out it still crashes so that's obviously not the answer

thank you, that was the problem, I had an alpha version of the mod apparently. I redownloaded the liquid potions mod because it's no longer alpha, but it still didn't work so I'll just take it out

So my minecraft is crashing when i have abyssalcraft and biomes o plenty installed. I went into the config for abyssalcraft and changed the ids for the biomes, but it's still crashing. So my mac is very screwy about java. I have java 7 installed on my laptop, but for some reason, at the java location that my minecraft was using java from, it only had java 6 in the folder. I eventually found how to change it to java 7, but in the minecraft launcher, I had to change the java executable section of edit profile with the path I found to where java 7 was. So that worked, and now my minecraft is running off java 7, but I don't know how to change my forge server so that instead of using the regular path, which goes to java 6, it uses the new path I have that goes to java 7. Does anyone know how to fix this issue?
