[1.7.2] Event for block placing?

I'm making an item that protects any BlockContainer or subclass of from intruders and I need an event to handle block placing, so I can get the original placer. Is there any method for checking this on items or an event for it? I though about PlayerInteractEvent, but it would register every time someone opens the chest. And I only want it to allow chests placed AFTER mod installation.

1.7.10 is no longer supported by forge, you are on your own.

That was added in 1.8.

I have it in my 1.7.10 workspace...

@OP, update to 1.7.10. No need to use 1.7.2.

Don't PM me with questions. They will be ignored! Make a thread on the appropriate board for support.

1.7.10 and older versions of Minecraft are no longer supported due to it's age! Update to the latest version for support.
