Posted March 11, 201510 yr Hello! I am currently working on packets and stuff, and I'm running into a problem: To send the world to the server side, I am sending the world name in a string. But how do I get the world from a string on the recieving end? - Arie [Edit] Solution: MinecraftServer.getServer().worldServers[dimensionID] Thanks larsgerrits! I never post on the forums, but when I do, I have no clue how to do a certain thing.
March 11, 201510 yr Sorry, but WHAT?! You shouldn't be sending any world changes from client to server (othen than player operations ofc). Why are you doing it? Server is a tea-kattle. Client is just a cup. I can't imagine someone pouring tea from cup to kattle, that breaks the concept. Could you please explain? Server alredy knows in what world client is (client can be only in ONE world at the time). 1.7.10 is no longer supported by forge, you are on your own.

The thing is, that the server has to know the coördinates of this operation, and that includes the dimension id (did I refer to it as world name? Oops...) March 11, 201510 yr MinecraftServer.getServer().worldServers[dimensionID] . Don't PM me with questions. They will be ignored! Make a thread on the appropriate board for support. 1.12 -> 1.13 primer by williewillus. 1.7.10 and older versions of Minecraft are no longer supported due to it's age! Update to the latest version for support. http://www.howoldisminecraft1710.today/
