So I am making NPCs and They are not ment to be EntityCreature (lot of useless fields). EntityLiving is what I am after.

I registered EntityNPC extending EntityLiving and comman /summon won't let me me spawn it. What is required (in code) to make implementation of EntityLiving (or how do i spawn it with /summon)?

Note: Yes, entity is registered in EntityList. (checked)

Chat msg: "Unable to summon object"

1.7.10 is no longer supported by forge, you are on your own.

It's like /summon doesn't see it, it's not an error (this message is also displayed if you put random entity name in command - non existant, like /summon dfafa, so that's not an "error").

For sake:

	EntityRegistry.registerModEntity(EntityNPC.class, "NPC", 0, InitUtil.ModID, 160, 1, true);

Maybe it's /summon modid.NPC?

You used registerModEntity, the entity id in your mod would have a common prefix "modid.".

Yes I agree that I think you have to put modid prefix.

In one of my mods with lots of custom entities I got tired of either forgetting to put my modid or tired of typing it when I remembered.  So I created my own command called /conjure.  I have a tutorial on this if you're interested: http://jabelarminecraft.blogspot.com/p/minecraft-forge-172.html
