I'm new to modding a while ago I took a class and learnt how to do it, but not how to install eclipse, gradlew,and whatever else. I followed this tutorial: http://www.orangetutorial.com/setting-up-forge-with-eclipse/#comment-436.

I used forge 1.7.10-10.13.0.1202 because 1.8 and 1.6.4 didn't seem  to be the same setup.

 

I'm obviously new to this and I just want a guide for the current version of forge.

I tried launching with eclipse and got:

Go on youtube and look up "MrCrayFish 1.7 modding". He will teach how to setup a DECOMP workspace which means, you can view all the minecraft classes. Next time you post, please put your crash report/code between code lines. Thank you!

Your forge version. Get the newest one (1291).
