Mod Help...

Hey I'm Wondering, if it is possible, to update mods? Like for instance, 1.6.4 Mod, to 1.7.10 or 1.8...

 

Like i have a mod, that was like Very Old, And the Creator Quit updating the mod to a new minecraft version, And I'm wondering, if it's possible to

like update it somehow? to a New Minecraft version...

If you have Java knowledge and experience with Minecraft modding, you might be able to it yourself. Else, no. Every major Minecraft update (from eg. 1.6.X to 1.7.X) makes changes to the source making it impossible to make a 1.6.X mod work on MC 1.7.X.

hasn't been on since 2003, I really Loved this mod so much, that im trying to figure out how to update it... so it works on later Versions of minecraft
