I was wondering if there is any way to play as your user in the dev environment instead of one of the fake users generated by mcp.

there were some arguments that you can pass in your launch settings, I will need to search a bit for them, but they exist

For your username add

--username [your username]

to uour run configs, and the same for password.

Don't PM me with questions. They will be ignored! Make a thread on the appropriate board for support.

To be clear, we're talking about the application arguments in your Eclipse Run Configuration that you're using to launch in dev environment. As mentioned, you can add the --username=<your_user_name> and --password=<your_password> arguments.

Check out my tutorials here: http://jabelarminecraft.blogspot.com/

Basically, here's what you have to do:

[*] Click on the little arrow next to the play button

[*]Click on Run Configurations

[*]Click on Client, and then click on Arguments

[*]Under the program arguments section, type two things:

1) -username [insert your Mojang account email address]

2) -password [insert your Mojang account password]

[*]Run the game, it should log into your account

This will completely log you into your Mojang account. When you run the game, it will generate session IDs, authenticate you, etc. This means that you will have your username, the game will load your skin and you can even join online multiplayer servers without needing to crack them. Keep in mind that I've noticed this can increase the time it takes to start the game up, and I've noticed the game tends to crash when it can't connect to the server or you have no internet connection.

Hope this helps!
