When I launch Minecraft with the latest or the recommended version of forge for 1.7.10 and go into fullscreen mode the window shows up like this...

I am running OSX 10.10.2 Yosemite, Java 8 Update 45. If anyone has a fix for this please reply.

Try disabling the new loading screen by setting

enabled

to

false

in

config/splash.properties

This thread makes me sad because people just post copy-paste-ready code when it's obvious that the OP has little to no programming experience. This is not how learning works.

Because it's not working like a charm for me, is this what you want to change? This is the only "enabled" at ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/config/splash.properties
