Minecraft crashes at Forge initialization stage 6/7 (finishing up)

Recommended Posts

I downloaded Forge and I'm trying to play the Jurassicraft mod, but Minecraft crashes before I get to the main menu. After clicking 'play', a black screen comes up for 5 seconds then is replaced by the Mojang logo. The game runs through the 7 initialization stages of Forge but crashes at stage 6 'finishing up'. I can still play regular Minecraft but not modded. I am using version 1.7.10 for both Forge and Minecraft.

This is the crash report:

I see Jurassicraft erroring:

UCE   jurassicraft{1.4.5} [JurassiCraft] (JurassiCraft-1.4.5.jar)

(the 'E' in the 'UCE' stands for errored)

Try without Jurassicraft installed. If it works then, it's a problem with Jurassicraft, so you'd need to report that to its author(s).

This thread makes me sad because people just post copy-paste-ready code when it's obvious that the OP has little to no programming experience. This is not how learning works.

I removed Jurassicraft from the mods folder and deleted the Forge folder as you guys told me to. Unfortunately, after launching minecraft, the game crashed at stage 6 again. This is the report:

Then something on your machine, I do not know what, is completely and utterly broken.

I deleted my whole .minecraft folder in case I corrupted something before and then reinstalled minecraft. It seems like I fixed the problem, Forge and my mods work now. Thanks for the help :)
