I am trying to get Minecraft working for my son on my Mac (so far he has only played PS4 version).  I installed the game, then Forge, then some mods [toomanyitems, notenoughitems, better pvp, instant structures, dynamic lights, and minions (I think that is all)].

I had run the game without anything (worked fine) with only Forge (worked fine) and then with everything else (stupid me) and the icons for some of the stuff in the Inventory went to a white square with colorful dots and when you selected that item then the same white square and colorful dots would appear in the hand.

I tried deleting everything (deleted Minecraft from Applications folder and minecraft from Application Support folder) and reinstalling.  When I just reinstall the game it works fine, but when I install Forge (and only Forge) the problem comes back.

Disable the loading screen, your graphics card/driver is borked and doesn't support it.

Read the EAQ on how to do it.

This thread makes me sad because people just post copy-paste-ready code when it's obvious that the OP has little to no programming experience. This is not how learning works.
