I have a GUI setup, and in "actionPerformed" I want to make it so one specific button would kill the player that is clicking it.

It should be pretty simple? I'm not sure. I'm new here. Thanks :P

Why are you reading this?

I am no good with packet stuff, but after you figure out the packet stuff the code needed  to kill an entity is as follows:

Entity.setDead();

The entity needs to be changed to the entity you need

if(pain == 0)

{

   gain = 0;

}

#setDead is almost an internal method. At least I strongly diagree with using it.

Lookup CommandKill.class,

Use: player.onKillCommand()

EDIT

Btw. you can simply send kill command instead of whole packet, just saying.

throw new CommandException("commands.generic.permission"); // IN YOU FACE

(Note: comment is quote from actual Mojang code, just for shits and giggles. <3 u Dinnerbunny).

I actually forgot that /kill != /suicide. That's an admin command indeed. :D

Easy way for you to do this.

When the player is nearby, move close to him with a sword in your hand.  Click your left mouse 'button'.

It can be buggy at times.  You may have to try it a few to make it work.
