I've been modding 1.8 for some time now bit I've never gotten to the point where I needed sided textures.

It seems that most textures for that purpose have been removed. Do we use the .json files now or is there a way to use code?

PM's regarding modding questions should belong in the Modder Support sub-forum and won't be answered.

JSON models control all textures (except if you're using a TESR). Look at the model for a vanilla block with the type of sided textures you want to see which model it inherits.

Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.

Well tanks. Thats unfortunate but I think I gotta deal with it. They are as annoying as they are useful.
