Why wont Forge for 1.8 and 1.7 work?

Whenever i try to use forge 1.8 versions from 11.14.3.1450 and above (up to 11.14.3.1504) and press play, the launcher disappears and nothing else happens. and if i use forge 1.8 versions from 11.14.3.1500 <---- (or something like that) it sends a crash report, the same thing happens in any version of forge 1.7.
