GOT IT TO WORK :D Thanks for All that Helped me :3 I had to Update Graphics Cards and now It Works (Although I do have a VERY Glitchy Nvidia X Display... Doesnt Matter though :D)

Hello MCForge Community/Developers/People/Lifeforms! I am Trying to play Minecraft PC 1.8.8 Forge on An Ubuntu 14.10 System. Problem is; It loads (Most?) the assets, But completely Freezes at Reloading Model Manager 8/15 :( Before it Reloads Model Manager, It says Loading Model manager 3/5 Then dissapears. After it being frozen for 1 Minute at Reloading Model Manager, Minecraft.jar closes then shows up a crash log.

I am Dual-Booting Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-Bit and Ubuntu 14.10 64-Bit on an HP Pavillion Media center TV PC m7680n (yep) with Upgraded RAM (4GB) and Upgraded Graphics card (Default was Nvidia GeForce 7300LE, I Upgraded it to Nvidia Geforce 620)

I tried Forge on Windows 7, and the installer didn't install it (Missing some Libraries)

I have the 1.8 and 1.8.8 Jars installed and the Minecraft Forge (Doesnt have a Jar File, only the json file.) inside .minecraft/versions

Strange thing though, I installed Minecraft Forge on my Little Brother's (7Yo) Toshiba Chromebook and it worked fine. I used crouton for his chromebook.

Also on his chromebook he has OpenJDK 7 while I have Oracle JRE 8. I have no mods installed. Minecraft also runs Swell on 1.8.8 (No Forge) on both Win7 and Ubuntu.

Crash Log:

Edit-

Downloading both the drivers @loordgek supplied and the Drivers for my Specific model. (http://www.geforce.com/drivers/results/90393) Will only install the ones for my Model but will keep the other drivers Just in case. I will update this post after I Update drivers (Download is 10 Minutes)

Edit2-

Failed to Install Drivers. Apparently I am running an X Server? I am executing the update Via tty3.

Edit3-

Got it to Install. Now I Updated Drivers. Will test Minecraft...

Have you tried updating your graphics drivers?

I recently (3 Days ago) Installed the Drivers VIA the CD the graphics card came with.

Alrighty, Need Help with this :(

I couldn't figure out how to execute a run file so I looked it up and found out that I have to sh it (I had to Sh it not Sh*t). I did that and it executed only the fail and let me know that I am running an X Server. Looked up help for THAT and it said I had to Hit Ctrl+Alt+F3 to go into tty3 and execute commands there. It failed again saying I am Running an X Server. Only this time when I clicked OK to that it showed another Message Saying it failed to Install.
