I have been trying to make a few staffs with different things that it could do. I have been trying to make a fire staff that shoots magma charges and can set things on fire. I don't know how to do it. If someone could help me with this I would love you.

Create your own entity projectile / throwable, implement damage to it when it hits an entity. Spawn it when you perform some action in-game, such as overriding onItemRightClick() in an Item type. Very simple, actually.

game changed the way you create foods.
for example minecraft 1.21.8 code for the golden apple is
