You all know about that new mod Avaritia, right? I was poking around on the FTB subreddit when I saw people were putting the initial release in packs to heavily gate things they considered OP behind DireCrafting. So I thought about it and figured people might want to have that functionality without the implied OPness of Avaritia and started on a mod. Just one problem - this requires custom recipe creation which I find confusing and which is not documented anywhere I know of. So could someone who knows about this stuff explain it to me? I'm not looking for code handouts, I'd never grow as a modder if i did that.

You shouldn't need to touch

CraftingManager

if all you're doing is creating a custom recipe type. Just implement the

IRecipe

interface and add instances of your recipe class using

GameRegistry.addRecipe(IRecipe)

.

Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.
