Is it possible to fill a block (tileentity) with any fluid in the fluid registry without having to have sub (metadata) blocks?

    Store the fluid as NBT? Check out any open source mod that provides tank blocks, really.

    If anyone has a comprehensive, visual guide to GUIs - don't hesitate to message me. They make my head spin.
