Posted October 7, 201510 yr I am trying to give ItemTownBook a custom EntityItem so that I can post an event when the ItemTownBook's item entity is destroyed. There are a few issues. First, when I /give deletethis civilization:town_book 1 0, it gives me two instead of one, like it's spawning an extra EntityItem even though I have overrided hasCustomEntity() and createEntity() so it should not be spawning the default ItemEntity. Second, the EntityItemWithEventPosting when thrown doesn't have any velocity and can be picked up almost immediately. Shouldn't these values be getting initialized in the constructor? ItemTownBook.hasCustomEntity(), ItemTownBook.createEntity() https://github.com/deletethis-github/Civilization/blob/master/src/main/java/deletethis/civilization/item/ItemTownBook.java#L254 EntityItemWithEventPosting https://github.com/deletethis-github/Civilization/blob/master/src/main/java/deletethis/civilization/entity/item/EntityItemWithEventPosting.java
