It seems that world.getWorldInfo().getWorldName() only works on the server side. For the client, it's always set to "MpServer".

 

Does anyone know of a way for the client to find the real name of the world?

Hi,

If the mod is also serverside, you can use packets. Have the client ask the server and have the server reply with the result from your function.

Probably is a better way though, I would think it would be built in; but I dunno.

I can't wait to start working on my mod. I haven't worked on it in a while but it is on

Github. It needs much more organization and work, I have lots of plans. :)
