In the TESR I want to set one of the entity items shown to whats in one of the slots of the tile entity, it works but you have to open the GUI of the tile entity for it to work, can anyone suggest a way I can do it so that it shows when the world is loaded? I'm sorry if the TESR code is bad, it's my first time using TESR and OpenGL. February 20, 20169 yr Override TileEntity#getDescriptionPacket (called on the server to send data to nearby players) to write the data that needs syncing to NBT and return a new S35PacketUpdateTileEntity with that NBT. Override TileEntity#onDataPacket (called when the client receives an S35PacketUpdateTileEntity ) to read data from the packet's NBT. Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.
