Ok so I went on the IRC and they gave me a new piece of code but that doesn't work either for some reason. In a nutshell when I start the game and then exit it go into the config file and change the ID for my ore then start it up again and make a world then I hit E for inv in the creative menu and NEI both of them say the ID it writes to the file but not what I change it to in the file like it should. Like if you change the ID in redpower it will also change ingame mine won't do that in the creative menu or NEI.

Do you have any suggestions? Because I did follow the forge tut and some others I could find exactly and it refuses to work.

Did you run config.load()?

Protip: try and find answers yourself before asking on the forum.

It's pretty likely that there is an answer.

Was I helpful? Give me a thank you!
