hello there

i am new to the forums so if i put this in the wrong thread than sorry

i am trying to build a .mine craft folder (1.3.2) with the following mods

(1.3.2)ReiMinimap_v3.2_05

buildcraft-A-3.2.0pre9

forestry-A1.5.0.2

Railcraft_6.1.1.0

TFCraft-Universal-core-B2-Build52e

TrainModUniversal_v3.1.8

industrialcraft-2_1.106

MC 1.3.2 - player API client 1.7

minecraftforge-universal-4.2.5.303

i tryed installing in different ways but i get item id errors

i ve tryed to fix these errors but i continue to get crashes at start up

is there any way someone could help me create config files to allow these mods to work correctly ?

(i understand that IC2 and other ores taht are not from TFCraft will not spawn in world)

any help here would be really appreciated

ALL mods should have configs that let you manually change the block ID's, or you could delete trouble configs one by one until they all get reassigned(if it was coded right).

If the mod does not have configurable block id's... it is not worth using. Sorry, that's my opinion. It takes no effort and makes me lose my entire confidence in the mod.

thanks for the reply

the configs are not the issue.

i have mods taht use the same item ids, but when i change them i get a crash which tells me that the id i changed is already in use

i ve gone through each mods configs and listed there ids

here they are

  Reveal hidden contents

i can t find any left over block ids that work (most give me a very odd crash involving a block id error but no number to allow me to correct it)

Block ID's cannot surpass the ID of 4095.  Usually Item ID's are assigned beyond 4096 and as high as 31999.

If you cannot for the life of you get everything behaving, you could use ID Resolver, but be warned, this could break mods that do not address the instance's blockID's and instead use the block and Item ID's the config returned. It can also make server play extremely annoying, as well as breaking your maps everytime you add or remove a mod.
