DreamThorn
I want to make a mod, and I want it to be compatible with Forge. If I understand the process correctly, I need the Forge source code. (I think I used to need the MCP, but apparently things have changed.) Every place I find instructions tells me to get the source at http://files.minecraftforge.net/, but I don't see any source releases. I suppose I need more specific instructions, or just a direct link.
Choonster
The source download was renamed to MDK (Mod Development Kit) because it hasn't actually included any Forge or Minecraft source code since the switch to ForgeGradle from MCP. This tutorial explains how to set up modern versions of Forge. Quote Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.
DreamThorn
Thanks! I'll get that MDK file then.
