How do I make a food item return another item when consumed?

title is bascially the question, but I've got tin cans basically

Override

Item#onItemUseFinish

to call the super method and return the replacement item, like

ItemSoup

does. If the food stacks, add the replacement to the inventory instead of returning it from the method.
