ssnathan
NOTE: I put this here instead of support because i read the FAQ and this post doesn't seem to fit in that category. I have made it so forge can run mods on multiple versions of minecraft without them crashing each other. It works for various versions that I've tested, including 1.7, 1.8, and 1.9. However, when I've tried it on 1.10, mods won't load. The mod I have tested this with is Optifine. Any Fix? (I cant find a way to insert images, so this is a description. Why do they put those annoying [] commands... Is there a page with a tutorial on how to use them?) This is what the mods folder in .minecraft looks like. 1.5.2(-Doesn't Work) 1.6.2(-Untested) 1.6.4(-Untested) 1.7.2(-Untested) 1.7.10(-Works) 1.8.0(-Works) 1.8.9(-Works) 1.9.0(-Works) 1.9.4(-Works) 1.10(-Doesn't work? Anyone know why?)
ssnathan
Where do I get the FML log?
ssnathan
I just found something interesting, Optifine has loaded, but it doesn't show up in the mods area in the main menu. An update message for another mod also showed up, but it also wasn't in there. I installed another mod, and it showed up in the mods area. I think it must just be a visual bug for those 2 specific mods, as they have their own installers. Thanks for responding, though.
Kzitold
How long has version specific mods folders been a thing? I used to do seperate directories for each version, and noticed the version specific mods folders only recently after adding LiteLoader.
