If not, then how do Minecraft render the armor bigger than the player? http://www.startrek.com/uploads/assets/articles/61c89a9d73c284bda486afaeaf01cdb27180359b.jpg[/img] Till next time. June 25, 20169 yr Minecraft uses LayerBipedArmor to render armour on bipeds. This uses a pair of ModelBiped s (one for the legs, one for the other pieces) with a larger scale than the entity's model. To use a custom model for your armour, override Item#getArmorModel . Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.
June 25, 20169 yr Author Ah, so that's how they do it, smart, so the armors are basically a layered armor above the player's skin but a larger scale than the player, fascinating.
