With large packs, there can be a lot of keybindings to scroll through. I think a search bar (possibly with a "show only conflicting" option) would improve usability.

I think the mod "NotEnoughKeys" is what you are looking for, it adds a Conflicting Menu to the keybinds.

Yes, except that it does not have a release since 1.7.10. I thought that since Forge added modifiers for keybinds, a search bar would be a logical thing to add, especially for finding the few keybinds I change in every new instance

They have a 1.8.9 release. And an github they have a branch for 1.9. So give it a few days/weeks and there will be an option.
