Posted July 21, 20169 yr I just cant figure out how to replace the item in your hand when you right click on a cow. :'( I am trying to make a dirtBucket, for water and lava it is working fine. But what code should I use to replace the dirtBucketEmpty to dirtBucketMilk when I right click a cow. All help is welcome
July 22, 20169 yr If you are not already using EntityInteractEvent, then I would recommend that you do so. The event#getEntityPlayer = the player. The event#getTarget() = the entity the player interacts with. The event#getItemStack() = what the player is holding (Can be null! Always null-check) To set new ItemStack, just use event.getEntityPlayer().inventory.setInventorySlotContents(event.getEntityPlayer().inventory.currentItem, your new ItemStack); Also previously known as eAndPi. July 22, 20169 yr Author But I want to code it for Minecraft 1.9.4. The problem is that I cant find EntityInteractEvent.
July 23, 20169 yr Author I did what you said: But EntityInteractEvent does not exists for forge MC 1.9.4
July 23, 20169 yr Author the only thing I still need is where I can find the registered Entities. Like when using blocks: blocks.OBSIDIAN . But Where can I find this for Entities? I guess Entity.EntityCow isn't the right because it doesn't works.
July 23, 20169 yr Entities aren't singletons the same way blocks and items are. You need to check if the entity is an instanceof EntityCow or an instance of whatever entity class you're targeting.
