[1.10.2] Register / unregister provider type in DimensionManager

nosignal

Recommended Posts

Use

DimensionType.register

to create a new

DimensionType

that uses the specified

WorldProvider

class. You can't unregister a

DimensionType

, but you can unregister individual dimensions.

Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.

Thank you for your reply.

I try to update mod from 1.7.10 to 1.10.2.

originaly code is here

can you see WorldProviderOverworld class

and provide any suggestion for fix register/unregister.

thank you. sorry for my bad english.

The mod was using one of the worst ways for that, which has high possibility of incompatibility.

( It wouldn't have had to hardcode BoP case, If it had been using other way )

Just wrap the worldprovider on 'WorldEvent.Load', with reflection.

I. Stellarium for Minecraft: Configurable Universe for Minecraft! (WIP)

II. Stellar Sky, Better Star Rendering&Sky Utility mod, had separated from Stellarium.

I just said that you should wrap it, not anything related with impossibility.

And the methods are still there, but it should not be used for these purpose.
