[1.10] Where to place logging configuration file ?

Hi!

Where do I have to place the logging.property file? In the doc of FMLPreInitializationEvent#getModLog() it says config/, but where is it ?

Is it the config folder of the mod ?

That doc comment is outdated, the logging.properties file is never used by any part of Forge.

Minecraft and Forge now use log4j, its configuration format is documented here. I'm not sure if there's any way to configure your mod's messages without completely overwriting Forge's configurations.

I'm not using FMLLog, so I should be able to set my Logger level. Everything I tried do not seems to affect it.

Failed loading villager cartographer registered at cartographer - frozen tick

Allocated 10 Gb of ram. Could try again with more but I read using too much can slow things down as well. Going to try another big modpack and see if i can replicate the problem. It seems like this cartographer problem is kind of popular and doesn't have a solid solution yet, but i suspect its some generation mod since it's a crash that happens when specific chunks are being loaded. so i'll still try to lookout for what mod it could be as i add. i'll report back after testing as you suggested for a bit

I have no idea - is enough RAM allocated?
Do other pre-configured modpacks work? Maybe use such a modpack as working base and add new mods one by one

The settings.gradle file has been fixed. But, the build.gradle has an error now.
Error:
