I have added in a custom set of tools but there are a few issues:

The item does not have a texture

The item cannot be crafted

There are no errors in the log that point to a Model/Texture issue. The recipe can be seen using Just Enough Items but the output is blank e.g. Air. Also, The tools do have a Property Override to switch the texture based on the materials it is crafted with. I tested removing the Property Override and the issues still occur.

You have set your registry name different to what your @ObjectHolder annotations are looking for.

such as you have set the registry name to "tool_pickaxe_bone" but are looking for "tool_bone_pickaxe"

Did you really need to know?

This is correct.

Your

NetherExModels#registerModel(Object, String)

method hides this error by using

instanceof

checks and not checking for

null

. I would recommend replacing these

instanceof

checks with separate overloads taking

Block

and

Item

arguments respectively.

Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.

Thank you! I cannot believe I missed something so simple.
