Posted January 5, 20178 yr I want to create my own EnumCreatureType , and I came across this post from 1.7.10 saying that it didn't work in 1.7.2. But surely that must be fixed by now, right? RIGHT?? If it is, how do I use it? At the moment, this is what I'm doing: public static final EnumCreatureType PREHISTORIC = EnumHelper.addCreatureType("Prehistoric", EntityPrehistoric.class, 12, Material.AIR, true, true); and then I use it in EntityRegistry$addSpawn , but when I do this, anytime I try to run the game it crashes, giving me a java.lang.UnsupportedOperationException . What am I doing wrong? And if it's just that EnumHelper$addCreatureType() plain doesn't work, could you please fix it? Thanks. IGN: matte006 Played Minecraft since summer 2011. January 5, 20178 yr Biome#getSpawnableList (used by EntityRegistry.addSpawn ) returns the empty list for non-vanilla EnumCreatureType values, which throws an UnsupportedOperationException if you try to modify it. This will happen any time EntityRegistry.addSpawn is called with a non-vanilla EnumCreatureType . I'm working on a mod to reproduce this error so I can report it on GitHub. Please don't PM me to ask for help. Asking your question in a public thread preserves it for people who are having the same problem in the future.
January 5, 20178 yr Author So... There's nothing I can do about it? Oh well, thanks anyway IGN: matte006 Played Minecraft since summer 2011. Modding is my life now. Please check out my mod https://minecraft.curseforge.com/projects/gadgets-n-goodies-mod?gameCategorySlug=mc-mods&projectID=230028

January 5, 20178 yr Author My question would be why you want a new creature type? Because I want my mobs to have their own separate mob cap, independent of other mobs types.
