Hey, thanks for watching this post.

//Please respect, the English is not my first languages. Tanks

I'm trying to programm a modification, who detect and block some words from sending.

So I tryied the wohle afternoon, to fix this problem. But it doesn't work. But I have tu say, my knowledge to programm is not really big. So I hope somebody can help me.

I've tried it with the following code, but it does not work. Please help me

package com.example.examplemod;

import ibxm.Player;
import net.minecraft.entity.player.EntityPlayerMP;
import net.minecraftforge.event.ServerChatEvent;
import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.Mod;
import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.Mod.EventHandler;
import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLInitializationEvent;
import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.event.FMLPreInitializationEvent;
import net.minecraftforge.fml.common.eventhandler.Event;

@Mod(modid = ExampleMod.MODID, version = ExampleMod.VERSION)
public class ExampleMod extends Event
{
    public static final String MODID = "examplemod";
    public static final String VERSION = "1.0";

    @EventHandler

    public void preint(FMLPreInitializationEvent event){
    }
    public void init(FMLInitializationEvent event)
    {

    }

    public void onServerChatEvent(ServerChatEvent event){
    	String message = event.message;

    	if(message.equalsIgnoreCase("test")){

    	event.setCanceled(true);
    	}
    }

}

Ya, you use one EventHandler for three events. You have to have one for each event.

And you should rename your class from the tutorial mod name.

I didn't notice that either.
