[SOLVED]Change in original tools' harvest level doesn't work

Hello, I'm new both to the forums and modding, but I've gone through several tutorials and I think I've got the basics down.

My problem is that I tried to change the original tools in Minecraft to rebalance them, but I can't seem to change the harvest level for the GOLD EnumToolMaterial. The weird thing is that all the other changes do take effect (I changed durabilities and mining speed). I wanted to make gold tools as strong as iron, but whatever I do, it keeps acting as harvest level 0 instead of 2.

That's the only thing I really want to do so, I haven't written anything else besides modifying those values.

EDIT: Added code to clarify my problem:

public enum EnumToolMaterial
{
    WOOD(0, 100, 3.0F, 0, 15),
    STONE(1, 200, 5.0F, 1, 5),
    IRON(2, 350, 6.0F, 2, 14),
    EMERALD(3, 1600, 8.0F, 3, 10),
    GOLD(2, 600, 12.0F, 2, 22);

This makes every change work except the harvest level. I tried changing the other harvest levels and they don't work either.

    WOOD(0, 59, 2.0F, 0, 15),

    STONE(1, 131, 4.0F, 1, 5),

    IRON(2, 250, 6.0F, 2, 14),

    EMERALD(3, 1561, 8.0F, 3, 10),

    GOLD(0, 32, 12.0F, 0, 22);

change to

    WOOD(0, 59, 2.0F, 0, 15),

    STONE(1, 131, 4.0F, 1, 5),

    IRON(2, 250, 6.0F, 2, 14),

    EMERALD(3, 1561, 8.0F, 3, 10),

    GOLD(2, 250, 12.0F, 2, 22);

I think you misunderstood my problem, I had already changed that, but the changes on the harvest level do not take effect, while every other change, like durability and mining speed do change.

this is what I wrote in the EnumToolMaterial

public enum EnumToolMaterial
{
    WOOD(0, 100, 3.0F, 0, 15),
    STONE(1, 200, 5.0F, 1, 5),
    IRON(2, 350, 6.0F, 2, 14),
    EMERALD(3, 1600, 8.0F, 3, 10),
    GOLD(2, 600, 12.0F, 2, 22);

I already tried changing the other harvest levels, and they do not change in game neither... anyone have any idea of what this could be?

Well, it seems no one wanted to help me with this one, but I think I worked out the problem.

The changes doesn't take ffect because they are listed in ForgeHooks with their original harvest levels.
