[1.10.2] IntelliJ on trying to launch outputs: "Couldn't set pixel format"

Sorry, if this is the wrong place. I have refreshed dependencies and followed the README, and it came up with this. I know it usually has been solved by updating drivers but I have the latest drivers for sure. Does anyone know what is the deal?

EDIT: Also, this only happens in IntelliJ, never happens in normal minecraft and even in modded minecraft with the EXACT same minecraft forge version.

I am using NVIDIA drivers for my gtx 780 TI, yes. I forgot to mention up above that this only happens in IntelliJ and normal minecraft and other modded minecraft is fine, including the exact same version of forge and minecraft.

Ok then ~~downgrade~~ upgrade because that exact version has problems with minecraft.

Well, other than IntelliJ. I'll read the reddit post for some solutions and test them and I'll reply with my results.

Well, it was fixed by installing this driver patch: http://nvidia.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4378

I don't know why all the other versions worked without it, but since everything works it's all good. Thanks a lot!

Try replacing implementation with minecraftLibrary. Dependencies in the minecraftLibrary configuration are added to your compile and runtime classpaths in ForgeGradle 6.

Failed loading villager cartographer registered at cartographer - frozen tick

Allocated 10 Gb of ram. Could try again with more but I read using too much can slow things down as well. Going to try another big modpack and see if i can replicate the problem. It seems like this cartographer problem is kind of popular and doesn't have a solid solution yet, but i suspect its some generation mod since it's a crash that happens when specific chunks are being loaded. so i'll still try to lookout for what mod it could be as i add. i'll report back after testing as you suggested for a bit

I have no idea - is enough RAM allocated?
Do other pre-configured modpacks work? Maybe use such a modpack as working base and add new mods one by one
