Modify xp dropped by ores in original game

Hello, I'm kinda new to modding and I'm searching for the part that makes coal drop xp, so I could modify it (I want to make it drop at least 1 orb always), and I wanted to make iron and gold drop some xp, as they don't drop anything.

Please let me know if you know about this, cause my head hurts from reading so much code that I don't understand.

I think it's supposed to be on the onBlockDestroyedByPlayer(I think thats the name) but I don't see it in the BlockOre class, and I'm confused @-@

There should be a hook in the code for the ore block you want to modify. If there isn't then ask the devs to add a hook(or DIY).

game changed the way you create foods.
for example minecraft 1.21.8 code for the golden apple is
