Hi guys,

I want to create a new armor set and i've got everything, but it doesn't render properly.

The icon and the rendered armor don't work:

I have registered the renderid for the armor with FML so i didn't had to change something in the proxy right?

In the Main-class:

bhelmet = (new BdiaArmor(907, TVMain.bda, ModLoader.addArmor("bdia"), 0)).setItemName("bhelmet").setIconIndex(6).setCreativeTab(CreativeTabs.tabCombat);

bplate = (new BdiaArmor(908, TVMain.bda, ModLoader.addArmor("bdia"), 1)).setItemName("bplate").setIconCoord(9, 0).setCreativeTab(CreativeTabs.tabCombat);

blegs = (new BdiaArmor(909, TVMain.bda, ModLoader.addArmor("bdia"), 2)).setItemName("blegs").setIconCoord(10, 0).setCreativeTab(CreativeTabs.tabCombat);

bboots = (new BdiaArmor(910, TVMain.bda, ModLoader.addArmor("bdia"), 3)).setItemName("bboots").setIconCoord(11, 0).setCreativeTab(CreativeTabs.tabCombat);

In the BdiaArmor class:

package Alasar.TheVoid.common;

import net.minecraft.item.EnumArmorMaterial;

import net.minecraft.item.ItemArmor;

import net.minecraft.item.ItemStack;

import net.minecraftforge.common.IArmorTextureProvider;

// This Is Your Class For Your Armor, Your Have To Extend ItemArmor For Minecraft To Register(Have The Required Methods And Values) This As Armor

// Then You Need To Implement IArmorTextureProvider For It To Be Able To Render

public class BdiaArmor extends ItemArmor implements IArmorTextureProvider{

// This Is Your Constructor, The First Param Is Item ID, The Second Is Its Material, The Third Is The Rendering ID, and The Final Is The Type (i.e. Helmet, Plate, Boots, Legs)

public BdiaArmor(int par1, EnumArmorMaterial par2EnumArmorMaterial, int par3, int par4){

super(par1, par2EnumArmorMaterial, par3, par4);

}

// This Sets The Icon For The Item Inside The Inventory

@Override

public String getTextureFile(){

return "gfx/thevoid/items.png";

}

//This Sets What The Armor Is Supposed To Render Like

@Override

public String getArmorTextureFile(ItemStack stack){

if(stack.itemID == TVMain.bhelmet.itemID || stack.itemID == TVMain.bplate.itemID || stack.itemID == TVMain.bboots.itemID){

return "gfx/thevoid/armor/bda_1.png";

}

if(stack.itemID == TVMain.blegs.itemID){

return "gfx/thevoid/armor/bda_2.png";

}

return "gfx/thevoid/armor/bda_2.png";

}

}

Hope you can help me

Alasar
