I would recommend the YouTube channel ModdingByKaupenjoe. He provides modding tutorials for Forge, Fabric and Neoforge from 1.17 to 1.21 that cover a wide range of topics (items, blocks, armour, tools, ore, trees, world generation, etc). He also always gives the link to his GitHub repository in the description so you can view the code yourself.
