I am fairly new to minecraft and added modpacks. I have tried (although unsuccessfully) to add mods to my backup copy of minecraft, but I always encounter some form of errors. 

 

Are there pre-installed modpack servers which allow user to just play these awesome features w/o changing .jar extensions and uploading zip files.  I had no luck with minecraft launcher either (specifically forge and optifine).. 

 

Can anyone help this newbe
