I'm having the same problem as well as another one as well when i download forge recommended then when it downloads i open it and instead of it open the final step to downloading forge it opens a forge installer folder with a bunch of random things that i don't know what they are  and also when i try to open any forge except for 1.7.10 it doesn't download and crashes btw i'm using a mac book pro if that helps. plz help me i really want to play with newer mods
