Could not find net.minecraft.launchwrapper.Launch?

I played fine yesterday, today it doesn't work.  Nothing changed except that when I opened minecraft the game re-downloaded the launcher.  Version 2.0.995.  I have not been monkeying with mods and the game won't even load with an empty mods folder.

 

I have deleted the entire folder (Edit:  c:\users\myusername\appdata\roaming\.minecraft) - no luck

I have run the repair option on the base windows Minecraft install - no luck

 

Base minecraft works fine.

 

Any help would be appreciated.

I could not find any other log - it doesn't get far enough to start logging elsewhere.

Based on the 2 other posts with the same symptom as mine in the last 5 minutes, I'm guessing the new Launcher broke something.

Yeah only my forge profiles are crashing

The same thing just happened to me! I've had zero problems so far with my modded world and suddenly the launcher updates, and now none of my forge profiles work even though I didn't change anything at all...

Confirmed working on my end. New version is .1003
